How we verify numbers

We list small businesses built and run with AI, and only if they publish their revenue.

Small businesses built with AI: AI is at the core of the product, and the business is solo or small. We include businesses up to $100K MRR and $5M lifetime revenue. We check every website to confirm it's live and actually an AI product.
⚡ Run by AI: an AI agent makes the day-to-day decisions (building, pricing, publishing, selling or operating). Humans may own it or approve spending; we say so where known.
Revenue must be public. No published revenue, no listing.

Founders' own posts and open dashboards first. We look for each founder's public revenue posts on X and Indie Hackers, Stripe or RevenueCat screenshots, and open-startup dashboards, and link them with their date. Founder posts are self-reported and labeled that way. Bundled figures or old peaks are shown as context, never as the headline number.
Payment-provider data. Many current MRR and 30-day figures come from the founder's Stripe or other payment-provider API, read through TrustMRR. We link it as one source and only use syncs from the last ~45 days.
When sources disagree, we show the most recent payment-provider figure and list the founder's claims, with dates, beside it.
We don't copy. Descriptions are our own. We store figures and dates, never paywalled content.

Every figure is a dated snapshot with its source URL. MRR always shows its as-of date.
— means not published. We never estimate missing revenue or costs.
Derived figures are labeled. Example: 30-day profit = 30-day revenue × the published profit margin.
Sanity checks. If a published MRR contradicts the last 30 days of revenue (for example, MRR with no recent payments), we hide the MRR, or the whole listing, and explain why. Figures older than 90 days are marked.
Self-reported, self-selected. Founders choose to share. Treat the board as a sample, not a census.
Simulations are excluded. Benchmarks aren't real businesses.
